Chief Philanthropy Officer
Time at AJFCS: 7 Years
I am part of the AJFCS/LJRFS team because it gives me the wonderful opportunity daily to connect caring donors with an agency that serves the community in such a significant and meaningful way. Helping passionate donors to express and fulfill their philanthropic desires is a great honor. It’s a privilege to serve as an ambassador of an organization that is committed to improving the quality of people’s lives, and does it with such integrity and compassion.
Carolyn Yasuna joined the staff of the Alpert Jewish Family & Children’s Service in April 2010 as director of strategic development. In this capacity, she is primarily responsible for securing endowments, capital, major and planned gifts. She previously held major gift portfolios at American Associates of Ben-Gurion University, Morselife Foundation, and the Jewish Federation of Palm Beach County, where she managed the $11 million annual Women’s Division Campaign.
A Connecticut native, Ms. Yasuna is active in the local Jewish community, serving in leadership roles at Temple Emanu-El of Palm Beach. She attended Northeastern University in Boston where she participated in the nationally recognized cooperative education program and earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Massachusetts.
Ms. Yasuna is deeply committed to building and sustaining financial support for the social services community of the Palm Beaches, and is proud to serve as an ambassador for AJFCS and a member of its outstanding professional and lay leadership team of leaders.
