Elaine Rotenberg, Ph.D.
Time at AJFCS: 20 Years
I am part of the AJFCS/LJRFS team because there is no greater honor than working with families who have devoted their lives to creating the best possible world for their loved ones. I have the pleasure of sharing the sheer joy that comes with seeing the growth and success of those we proudly serve.
Dr. Rotenberg was instrumental in the development and implementation of the Performance Quality Improvement Program of Alpert Jewish Family & Children’s Service, and coordinates the ongoing PQI activities for the organization. She has helped further the agency’s national exposure through participation in a national benchmarking initiative. Dr. Rotenberg has served as a peer reviewer for the Council on Accreditation for Family and Children’s Services (COA.)
Dr. Rotenberg is the consulting psychologist for the Meyer Academy in West Palm Beach, Florida, and is a much-requested speaker, lecturing on a range of topics including: communication, self-esteem, assertiveness, stepfamilies, mothers and daughters, depression, and other mental health concerns. She has presented nationally on issues about domestic abuse, developing quality improvement plans, and residential services for adults with disabilities. Dr. Rotenberg is regularly involved in outreach efforts into the community, and regularly seeks opportunities to develop interagency collaborations.
