The Palm Beach Grill was the setting for a kick-off luncheon honoring Alpert Jewish Family & Children's Service.

The event took place Jan. 13 and also served as a lead-in to the agency's No Excuse For Abuse luncheon.

Carla Fine, Tracy Nemerofsky and Hope Silverman are chairwomen of the annual luncheon, which takes place March 3 at the Kravis Center's Cohen Pavilion.

Leslie Morgan Steiner, author of a first-person account of her experience as a survivor of domestic violence titled Crazy Love, will be the keynote speaker.

Proceeds will benefit the Babette and Benedict Rosenberg Domestic Abuse Outreach and Support Program at the Alpert Jewish Family Service, a nationally accredited social service agency serving Palm Beach County with more than two dozen programs and services.

For reservations or information, call Emily Katzen at 561-238-0277
