We made history!
The 14th Annual No Excuse for Abuse Luncheon was the largest, most successful event in Alpert Jewish Family & Children’s Service’s 44 year history! We could not have done this without you.
It truly takes a village to combat domestic abuse and the myriad challenges affecting our community. Every ticket sold, pledge envelope filled, vendor item purchased and auction item won directly benefits the thousands of men, women and children who turn to AJFCS in their times of greatest need.
Today, over 700 of you witnessed the strength of a community dedicated to breaking the cycle of abuse. The power of social media allows us (and you) to share it with the thousands who were not able to attend and be part of this incredible day.
Here’s How We Made History:
Record Attendance: 720
Live Auction Proceeds: $21,000
Pledges Made: 350… and counting
A special thanks to Table 26 Palm Beach and Eddie Schmidt for their generosity, adding a second “Dinner for 26 at Table 26” to be the centerpiece for a third auction package which sold for $7,500 immediately after the conclusion of the live auction.

We hope you enjoyed our Luncheon - the shopping, the socializing, the teen trainers, the brave survivor who shared his story and, of course, Ms. Monica Lewinsky.
